(born on 25th March 1973) is a Professor and head of Department of Economics and Management in Metallurgy, VSB - Technical University of Ostrava (Czech Republic, EU) and Professor at Department of Logistics and Quality Management at SKODA AUTO UNIVERSITY (Czech Republic, EU). He was working as an visiting professor at the AGH University of Science and Technology (Poland, EU) and Opole University of Technology for three years (Poland, EU). He acquired ING-PEAD IGIP International Engineering Educatordegree awarded by the International Society for Engineering Education (IGIP – Switzerland). He completed an internship at the Seinajoki University of Applied Sciences (Finland, EU) and Moscow State Institute of Steel and Alloys (Russian Federation). His pedagogical and research activities are focused on industrial logistics and supply chain management. He is a logistics auditor, member of the Chamber of Logistics Auditors, guarantor of the Logistics Academy certification and educational organization. Lecturer of courses for business sphere. Solver or co-solver of industrial company projects (e.g. SKODA AUTO a.s., TŘINECKÉ ŽELEZÁRNY a.s.) and scientific and research projects (supported, for example, by the Grant Agency of the Czech Republic or EU funds). Member of Editorial Boards of international journals (e.g. Logistika, Transport & Logistics, Acta Logistica Slovaca, Total Logistic Management). Guarantor and organizer of annual international congress Carpathian Logistics Congress. Member of programme committees of international conferences (e.g. Metal – indexed in Web of Science, International Logistics and Supply Chain Congresses, Total Logistic Management). Author and co-author of more than 170 publications (monographs, scientific articles indexed in Web of Science, conference and seminar papers).
